In the year 2020, more than 50% of internet users access the web and applications through their smartphone. That leaves a 40-something percentage of users using laptops and desktops. However, the admittedly diminishing amount of PC users is in no case negligible — at least not yet.

So here comes the issue: I’ve crossed paths with numerous websites and applications which, despite being nicely designed for a mobile user, take a lot out of the neglected PC users. And that’s not a recent finding. I’ve noticed this… miscalculation quite some time now - but that’s that.

Why are scrollbars so…

It’s vegan, delicious, healthy and sugarfree.

So I was staying at a friendly couples' house the other day, at this beauutiful attic they have, which was solely at my disposal: wooden ceiling, with roof windows to watch the stars glow on the night sky when you lie on your bed and the golden rays of the morning sun, gradually permeating the morning sky.

On the first morning of my stay, they invited me to have breakfast with them. They offered me this bowl of (some kind of) milk, seeds and banana slices. The sight of it, admittedly, was not very alluring, but it had me at…

Four big fat complaints.

I was watching random stuff on YouTube when I stumbled upon this video whose title caught my eye: “At This Buffet Restaurant, You Pay As You Wish”.

Then I started watching and I realised it was something truly special, something I needed to share: an unprecedented act of humanity and hospitality.

It’s about an Indian vegetarian restaurant called “Annalakshmi” that is located in Singapore, since 1986. It’s a place where anyone can pick whatever they wish from the abundance of choices provided on the buffet, but also pay whatever they wish. …

The idea for this refreshment isn’t actually mine, but a friend’s. When you’re not in the mood for coffee or tea, or when you’ve just had too much of it, this alternative both boosts your energy and at the same time quenches your thirst during those unbearably hot summer days — and your sugar cravings too.

Additionally, it is low in calories and much more digestible than the regular cold chocolate with cow milk for people with sensitive stomachs like myself.

Plus it is a mere three-ingredient product. And did I mention? It’s sugarfree!
